cocoa butter
This aromatic cocoa butter is made from unroasted, lightly fermented Criollo cocoa beans from Peru – raw food quality.
Cocoa butter is perfect for homemade chocolate and pralines!
Since cocoa butter solidifies at room temperature, it's a fantastic ingredient for firming up raw food cake fillings ! This makes it easy to do without gelatin!
Tip: Together with Nordfey wild blueberry powder , you can create a kind of vegan wild blueberry cheesecake filling using cocoa butter and almonds or cashews!
Tip: Together with the Pink Cell Magic Powder you can make yourself a delicious pink berry chocolate !
Raw cocoa butter is a wonderful flavor carrier in desserts, cakes, hot chocolate, and homemade chocolate. It is also highly valued as a skin care ingredient , leaving particularly dry, rough, and flaky skin soft and supple.
Application
Raw cocoa butter is what is extracted from cocoa beans before they are processed into cocoa powder. It is pure fat from the cocoa beans and contains primarily the aromatic components of the beans. Currently, I offer this aromatically fragrant butter in drop form. These melt very quickly in a hot water bath. Less frequently, I receive larger, natural chunks.
I source the cocoa butter in first-class, fair-trade quality from a smallholder project in Peru.
Valuable commodity: Cocoa & cocoa butter
Almost everyone loves chocolate. And we know that chocolate contains something that makes us feel good, relaxes us, and makes us happy. What we didn't know until now is that the origin of chocolate – the cocoa bean – is one of the highest quality, most nutrient-rich, and most complex foods that humankind has ever discovered.
Unfortunately, many of the vital nutrients contained in cocoa beans are lost during chocolate production. In particular, the "feel-good" substances in cocoa are largely destroyed during the roasting of the beans, not to mention what refined chocolate can add. Refined sugar in finished chocolate causes problems. That's why raw, unroasted cocoa and raw cocoa butter are the best choice!
Cacao served the Maya and Aztecs both as food and as a ritual, love, and mystery plant. They revered cacao so much that they used it as currency instead of gold. When the Spanish conquistadors conquered Mexico and subjugated the Aztecs in the 16th century, they found not gold in the treasuries of the ruler Montezuma, but mountains of cacao pods.
